Ryan Chua is a fashion photographer based in the San Francisco/Bay Area. Photography has always been his passion and he began doing photoshoots with models in 2009. Within a year, Ryan has done over 100 photo shoots and has worked with various models from around the globe (Brazil, Russia, Australia, El Salvador, etc.), including agency models from FORD (SF), LOOK (SF), CITY (SF), NEXT (Beverly Hills), Models INC (Beverly Hills), Halvorson(SJ). He has also worked with a talented group of professional makeup artists, hair stylists, wardrobe stylists, and photographers throughout the Bay Area and Southern California.

Photography is a part of his journey. Ryan grew up in Southern California, attended University of California, Berkeley and graduated with a degree in Molecular & Cell Biology. He planned on attending pharmacy school but realized it was not for him. He then went on to pursue law and completed his paralegal certification. By then he could no longer deny that photography was his true calling. From that point on he has sought to become one of the best photographers in the industry and work with the best talents.

Ryan is very commited to his values of professionalism, integrity, and respect for the people he works with. He also believes that photoshoots should be a fun and an enjoyable experience. Ryan's focus is on fashion, editorial, commercial, and lifestyle photography. He aspires to shoot for Guess?, Banana Republic, Victoria's Secret, and fashion magazines in the near future.
